The presentation is about EMOTIVE CINEMA project, which I have developed as an author and a filmmaker since 2014 and that is currently in progress in a VR experimentation, EMOTIVE VR. This is an art-science project of neuro-interactive films, in which the audiences brain waves are caught by EEG headphone sensors, which give the machine an interpretation of their emotions and interact in real time with the editing of the film and the soundtrack. The specific experience of EMOTIVE CINEMA and VR spectators lead us to consider more accurately what is happening in the body and brain whilst viewing a film and to question how the viewer relies to the fictional characters.
